Enumeration

The enumeration pattern is used as a way of presenting information that would otherwise be given in a list.

A Balanced Breakfast

A balanced breakfast includes a variety of food nutrients. First, the fruit juice that you drink contains vitamins. Next come the carbohydrates: your cereal adds a starch content to your diet, and the honey you pour over it supplies the sugar. In addition to this, your egg is rich in protein. Then from milk your body obtains minerals.
