Before EuroCanadian education became prevalent among First Nations people education in most aboriginal cultures took place throughout the course of day to day life. education was the responsibilty of all. Many adults taught children life skills as well as spiritual and moral values. Children learn by observing adults while playing and working along side them. The structure of society, its moral code and the relationship of the individual to the community was learned through generations. These methods of education relied upon experience and an atmosphere of warmth and love.
