Technology

I began exploring the use of computer technology for education in 1982. I created and have taught classes about computers in education at MSVU and elsewhere. For six years I wrote a column on classroom computer applications for literacy instruction-ONLINE-for Language Arts, a professional journal for teachers. I have developed and maintain a website which serves as a resource for people interested in technology in education.

More recently, I spent six months at the Canadian Film Centre (Toronto) as a resident in the New Media Design Programme. And I have just finished a six-month contract as web project manager at the Ontario Science Centre, overseeing the redevelopment of the OSC website.

In addition to my skills as a project manager, I am able to work comfortably in Flash, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere.
